With cold eyes and indifferent mind
the spectators regard the work. Connoisseurs admire the "skill"
(as one admires a tightrope walker), enjoy the "quality of
painting" (as one enjoys a pasty). But hungry souls go hungry
away.

THEREBY IT WAS DETERMINED THE LACK OF AN ABSOLUTE STANDARD OF REST

There is, however, in art another kind of external similarity
which is founded on a fundamental truth. When there is a
similarity of inner tendency in the whole moral and spiritual
atmosphere, a similarity of ideals, at first closely pursued but
later lost to sight, a similarity in the inner feeling of any one
period to that of another, the logical result will be a revival
of the external forms which served to express those inner
feelings in an earlier age.

Warm Hello
On August 23rd, 2007 Blanko and Noiry will present their fifth performance.
This performance will be part of a night put together
by Mark Beadsley for Creative Time.
Also performing will be ROSE KALLAL

There is a third element to this night.
It has yet to materialize in physical form.

This is our fifth and likely final show for 2007.
As you may know, 5 is a very complete number.

This show promises many song premieres.
And gestures.

It is happening at the
205 Club
205 Chrystie St. (at Stanton St.)
I imagine we will take the stage near 9 or 10.

205 Club is hectic and fills quickly with un-budging doormen.

So I advise coming earlier than later.

We would love to see you there.

I have to tell you this now.
I’m leaving until the 19th to be under the custody of a psychic knife.
