Over the past couple months, I’ve truly enjoyed going to bars by myself. It used to make me self-conscious to be in a bar alone, yet as I get older I care less about such trivialities. I now love being anonymous and at the mercy of social unknowns. I have found by being patient and observant unexpected points of departure can manifest.
