DESCENDING THREES

On the night of 12.9.06 Blanko + Noiry will inagurate their first public performance. The show will take place near the pool of the Sagamore Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Blank + Noiry consists of Chris Kachulis and I. This is a project that has been a long time in the works and will finally come to fruition. Blanko and Noiry will be working through a damaged set of standards from the American songbook.
I’m honored to be working with Chris. Chris sang on the 1969 LP Electric Lucifer by Bruce Haack (as well as other unreleased records they did together). Chris and Bruce were good friends and collaborators. Chris has been working at ABC-TV for 46 years and we have been making good use of their facilities for our rehearsals. I’m really excited to see this happen.
